Renowned scientist Jane Goodall Expressed Aspiration to Send Trump and Musk on Non-Return Cosmic Voyage

After spending decades studying chimpanzee conduct, Jane Goodall became an authority on the hostile behavior of leading males. In a recently released interview documented shortly before her passing, the celebrated primatologist revealed her unconventional solution for addressing specific people she viewed as exhibiting similar characteristics: launching them on a permanent journey into outer space.

This extraordinary viewpoint into Goodall's mindset emerges from the Netflix documentary "Last Statements", which was recorded in March and kept secret until after her latest demise at nine decades of life.

"I know persons I'm not fond of, and I want to place them on a spacecraft and send them all off to the world he's convinced he'll locate," commented Goodall during her conversation with her interlocutor.

Particular Personalities Targeted

When questioned whether the tech billionaire, recognized for his controversial gestures and political alliances, would be part of this group, Goodall responded with certainty.

"Oh, absolutely. He would be the host. You can imagine the people I would place on that spaceship. Along with Musk would be Donald Trump and various Trump's loyal adherents," she declared.

"Additionally I would put the Russian president in there, and I would place China's leader. Without question I would add Israel's prime minister in there and his administration. Put them all on that spaceship and dispatch them."

This was not the first time that Goodall, a supporter of conservation efforts, had voiced concerns about the former president in particular.

In a 2022 interview, she had observed that he displayed "similar type of conduct as a male chimpanzee will show when vying for dominance with a rival. They're upright, they strut, they present themselves as much larger and hostile than they really are in order to frighten their competitors."

Dominance Patterns

During her last recorded conversation, Goodall elaborated on her analysis of dominant individuals.

"We observe, interestingly, two kinds of alpha. The first achieves dominance all by aggression, and since they're powerful and they fight, they don't last indefinitely. Others do it by utilizing strategy, like an aspiring leader will only challenge a superior one if his ally, frequently a sibling, is alongside him. And you know, they endure much, much longer," she clarified.

Collective Behavior

The renowned scientist also studied the "politicization" of conduct, and what her extensive studies had shown her about combative conduct exhibited by human communities and primates when confronted with something they considered dangerous, even if no risk truly existed.

"Primates observe a stranger from a neighboring community, and they grow highly agitated, and their hair erect, and they extend and contact each other, and they've got these faces of anger and fear, and it catches, and the others adopt that emotion that a single individual has had, and they all become combative," she described.

"It spreads rapidly," she continued. "Some of these demonstrations that become hostile, it spreads among them. Everyone desires to get involved and grow hostile. They're guarding their area or competing for supremacy."

Similar Human Behavior

When inquired if she believed similar behaviors occurred in human beings, Goodall answered: "Perhaps, on occasion. But I truly believe that the bulk of humanity are decent."

"My main objective is nurturing the upcoming generation of empathetic people, beginnings and development. But are we allowing enough time? It's unclear. It's a really grim time."

Historical Perspective

Goodall, a London native shortly before the beginning of the World War II, equated the struggle against the difficulties of contemporary politics to Britain standing up the Third Reich, and the "determined resistance" exhibited by the prime minister.

"That doesn't mean you won't experience periods of sadness, but then you come out and state, 'OK, I won't allow to permit their victory'," she remarked.

"It's similar to the leader throughout the battle, his famous speech, we'll fight them along the shores, we will resist them through the avenues and urban areas, afterward he commented to an associate and reportedly stated, 'and we shall combat them using the fragments of damaged containers because that's all we truly have'."

In her last message, Goodall shared motivational statements for those resisting political oppression and the climate emergency.

"In current times, when the world is dark, there continues to be possibility. Don't lose hope. When faith diminishes, you turn into unresponsive and remain inactive," she advised.

"And if you desire to protect what is still beautiful on our planet – if you want to save the planet for coming generations, your grandchildren, later generations – then contemplate the actions you make each day. Because, replicated numerous, innumerable instances, modest choices will generate significant transformation."
